An Open Letter To Our Patrons
Kurt and I are keenly aware that tickets for Pegasus Theatre’s annual Living Black and White™ (LBW) show would normally go on sale at the beginning of November. We have some good news and some not-so-good news on that topic.
First, Harry, Nigel, and Lt. Foster will have many more on-stage adventures in the future! We’ve been presenting these shows since 1986 and intend to continue doing so. That’s the good news.
The not-so-good news is that we are unable to produce a Living Black and White™ production in our 2024-25 season. There have only been two other times in our 39-year history that there has been a break in our annual LBW productions. And just like after those breaks, our Living Black and White™ trio will be back with hijinks and crime-solving before you know it!
In happier news, the rest of our 2024-25 season is unaffected! (See below for details.) We hope to see you at these shows, presented at the beautiful Bath House Cultural Center on White Rock Lake. Come back in early February for tickets to the March RadioVizion™ show, presented in the style of an old radio program! Fun for the whole family!
As always, we are grateful for your support!

The art and science of feeding theatre artists!
Many years ago, an actor who worked a lot at Pegasus Theatre was quoted in the newspaper as saying, "I like working at Pegasus---they feed their actors!" (Walter Hardts, RIP) It's true. We're a bit food-focused! There's actually a fine tradition of feeding actors in...
Our excellent New York adventure!
In 2002, after 17 years of producing our Living Black & White™ shows to sold-out crowds in Dallas, we took It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder! to NYC for a limited run. It was an amazing experience! Our Executive Director Barb Weinberger wrote weekly posts...
Top 30 Countdown #18: “Catholic School Girls”
We continue our celebration of Pegasus Theatre's 30th anniversary with our countdown (in chronological order) of the top 30 shows in our history. Today we feature Catholic School Girls by Casey Kurtti (1990). It was 1989, time for Artistic Director Kurt Kleinmann to...
Celebrate #19 in the countdown: Curse of the Coarse Actors!
We had opened Pegasus Theatre in October 1985 with a "coarse acting" show, so by our fourth season it seemed only fitting that we offer another evening of overly earnest theatre by amateur actors. The Director's Notes for the show gave a great description: "Coarse"...

In honor of Pegasus Theatre's 30th anniversary, we continue our countdown of our top 30 shows. In slot #20, we have Death:Take 1!, fourth in Kurt Kleinmann's series of Living Black & White™ plays. Death:Take 1! takes place in 1938 on the film set for an adventure...
