Bruce R. Coleman

Bruce R. Coleman is an award-winning Director/Designer/Playwright who has lived and worked in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area for 35 years. He began his association with Pegasus Theatre in 1987 as a set designer and created several of the sets for the Harry Hunsacker Living Black and White mysteries, among other more colorful offerings. Most recently he designed the 2 billion costumes for THE CUBAN AND THE REDHEAD, which received a Column Award. As a director, Bruce has worked for Pegasus Theatre, Uptown Players, ICT MainStage, The Fire House Theatre, The Pocket Sandwich Theatre, The Junior Players, Our Productions, and Upstart Theatre. Bruce has also been associated with Theatre Three since 1985 and also served as its Artistic Director for 2 years. Bruce has been awarded many times by the Dallas Theatre League, The Column Awards, The DFW Theatre Critics Forum, The Dallas Voice and the Dallas Observer for his contribution to local professional theatre.
