What is RadioVizion™ and how is it different from the Living Black & White™ shows?

It’s easy to remember the differences once you know the purpose of each series. The purpose of the Living Black & White™ series is to recreate the look and feel of an old black and white movie that has come tonight on stage. This requires special attention to the visual elements (set, costumes, props, lights, wigs, and makeup) as well as the acting style and sound design.

The purpose of RadioVizion™ is different. Here we aim to recreate the look and feel of an old radio play being broadcast with a live studio audience. The biggest impact is on the visual elements. We are no longer concerned with maintaining gray tones across your field of vision. Instead we want you to see what an old radio broadcast might have looked like. Gone are the wigs, makeup, and set. The costumes are much simpler, and the props focus is on objects that need to make the various sounds during the performance.

The Frequency of Death! will be especially interesting because the play itself contains a radio play. So we’ll be creating a radio play of a play about a radio play. Nifty, huh? Come see it, then stay after the show to tell us how we did!

See you soon!
