PEGASUS THEATRE AUDITION PHILOSOPHY
As theater-makers, we hold ourselves accountable to practices that will ensure that Pegasus Theatre is an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and actively anti-racist organization, both on-stage and off. & Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 3 pm to 6 pm

Pegasus Theatre is seeking 6 versatile adult actors (18+) of any race, gender, or background for this production of FULL MOON MURDERS!, part of our acclaimed Living Black & White® series. Performers will play one or more roles in this fast-paced, comedic murder mystery inspired by the motion picture “The Wolf Man” (1941).
HOW TO AUDITION

You’ll be asked to:
- Indicate any rehearsal or performance conflicts (see schedule below)
- Upload a headshot (JPEG) and theatrical résumé (PDF), if available
- Select an audition appointment time
We welcome all performers, including those without formal headshots or résumés.
Please prepare:
- A brief cold reading from sides provided in advance. Sides will be sent
- We will email sides to you after you sign up for an audition time.
Video Auditions:
If you are unable to attend in person, you may submit a video audition (max. 5 minutes) reading from the provided sides.
Submit your video to comedy@pegasustheatre.com by 1 pm on Sunday, October 18.

ABOUT THE PLAY
FULL MOON MURDERS! is a comedy murder-mystery by Pegasus Theatre founder Kurt Kleinmann, part of the Living Black & White® series. These productions recreate the aesthetic of classic black-and-white films through a unique combination of makeup, costumes, lighting, and set design—an experience both visual and theatrical.
The story features the beloved recurring characters: Harry Hunsacker, Nigel Grouse, and Lt. Foster, with a tale of Halloween, murder, betrayal, and werewolves!
Please Note: The roles of Harry, Nigel, and Lt. Foster have been cast.
AVAILABLE ROLES:
- John Creighton – About to turn 30. He is the latest in a long line of Creightons to call Creighton Manor home. He carries a sense of impending doom due to the family curse!
- Maleva – Ageless. She is heavily inspired by Maria Ouspenskaya’s performance in The Wolf Man (1941) — RECOMMENDED VIEWING.
- Patrick Montford – Cousin of John Creighton. Well-known film director. Used to making you see what he wants you to see. Around 30.
- Evelynn Conliffe – The ingenue and Patrick Montford’s fiancée. In her late 20’s.
- Dr. Talbot – A Dr. Von Helsing type. Could be played by either a man or a woman. Must convey moral authority. Older.
- Andrews – The groundskeeper. Very familiar with poison. Dies at the end of Act 1…or does he?
